The XVIII National Meeting of the PCO had a high participation of delegates (275 registered) and exhibitors (24 companies). During the three days, the meeting analysised the current situation of the professional congress organisers and its challenges in the future. Before ending the Meeting held in the Hotel Monasterio de San Miguel, the presentation of the next meeting tooks place, which will be on the 19th in La Coruña. In 2007, it will be in Madrid where the 20th Anniversary of the Meetings will be celebrated.

The Meeting was organised by OPC Andalucía and OPC España, with the sponsorship of the Ayuntamiento of El Puerto de Santa María, and the collaboration of the Junta de Andalucía, the Confederación de Empresarios de Andalucía, the Diputación de Cádiz through its Patronato Provincial de Turismo, the Jerez Convention Bureau, Turismo de Andalucía and the Commerce Chamber of Cadiz, among others.
