Within Sofitel’s re-positioning in the luxury hospitality market, it has opened two new hotels in Dubai and in Cairo.

The Sofitel The Palace Old Town, located in the heart of Old Town Island in the centre of downtown Dubai, “has the charm of an oriental palace and the intimate comfort of a private residence and is directed both for tourists and for business travellers,” according to the hotel chain.

In the capital of Egypt on Gezirah Island, the Sofitel El Geisha has been completely renewed in 2007, and offers the luxury traveller “a refined interior architecture, high-tech equipment, five restaurants and a spa,” according to the company.
