What is ‘NetZero Events’, the international commitment of the MICE industry? What do ChatGPT and artificial intelligence for events mean? Companies still far from defining sustainability targets in MICE
The merger of shows in order to increase audience goes on: Following the purchase of office* by Mash Media, the events will take place together and aims to gather with this set of joint events a total of over 18,000 visitors, on 1st - 2nd March 2017.

The procurement of office* also expands the breadth of event buyers across the shows; the PA (personal assistant) market is synonymous with training, incentive travel, Christmas parties, summer parties and company conferences as well as smaller meetings. The arrival of even more PA and EAs to the show will supplement existing event professionals and strengthen the audience.

“We´re putting more and more event buyers in the room to do business,” comments Liz Agostini, Event Director, International Confex. “When we bought International Confex we did so to unite all sectors of the industry and bring them closer together, this is the next step in realising this ambition and will make for a spectacular gathering next year.”

International Confex launches has also launched a new campaign for its 2017 show; #myConfex. The marketing will now see a series of new advertising creatives that support the wider event strategy of making the visitors the ‘hero´ of the show. Some of the adverts will focus on the everyday thoughts of visitors to the event, while others look at the aspirations of event professionals around the world.

“Confex is all about the industry and the people that make it great, so we wanted a campaign that showed their faces and their thoughts on the industry,” comments Liz Agostini, Event Director, International Confex. “We know our visitors and exhibitors want to be inspired, so have taken the marketing in that direction.”
