Euromic is one of the oldest DMC consortiums in the travel industry. The association, formed by 52 DMC leaders, held its Annual General Assembly in Cascais, Portugal, in which they elected the new board members and the president, who will be Rajeev Kohli, CEO of Creative Travel India, replacing Hasan Dinc from SDG Turkey. Rajeev has a solid experience in managing associations since he has been the global president of SITE, the only one who has assumed two consecutive terms.

Kohli has also been on the boards of the Indian Convention Promotion Office, the Indian Association of Tour Operators and the American Society of Travel Agents, among other volunteer work. Euromic also welcomed a new vice president, Eduarda Neves, of the Portugal Travel team and the new board member, Michael Kater, MD of Compass Tours Incoming Germany. Those who continue to be on the board are Víctor Cañizares of Spanish Heritage Spain, Laszlo Pastor of Blaguss Hungary, Karim El Minabawy of Emeco Travel Egypt, Michael Argiri of Concept Tours Greece and Hasan Dinc of ODS Turkey, the former president.

Since 1973, euromic’s mission has been to provide global meetings and the incentive travel industry with a professional platform that offers the best talent, local knowledge and logistics experience in markets on five continents. This nonprofit marketing association is the exclusive property of its members, among which are the world’s leading DMCs. Membership is by invitation only and only one DMC is allowed per destination. The association is based in Portugal and operations offices in the United Kingdom and the United States.
