What is ‘NetZero Events’, the international commitment of the MICE industry? What do ChatGPT and artificial intelligence for events mean? Companies still far from defining sustainability targets in MICE
It is not very well known in Europe yet, but the highly respected Association of Professionals of the Organization of Conventions (PCMA), whose positioning focuses on a very strategic contribution to the sector of events with a lot of focus on corporate matters, is of conquest. He has opened offices in Asia and Europe and now, he has just gathered from 23 to 25 September more than 150 influencers, including senior executives and professionals from the MICE industry in Seville, with a program of lectures, workshops and networking. They were in the new Cartuja Center theater (Isla de la Cartuja, Seville).

The theater hosted the sessions on Monday afternoon, whose starting signal was given by Bernardo Hernández, entrepreneur, investor and member of the jury of the Prince of Asturias Awards for Science and Technology with his presentation “Emerging Consumer Engagement Trends in the digital Age” , where he highlighted the emerging factors and technologies that are shaping new ways of creating and consuming content, exploring new technological tools to promote the strategy of consumer participation. To do this, the auditorium of the theater was transformed between the beginning and the end of the session, thanks to the technology of the GALA VENUE system, which allows to vary the height of each of the rows and hide the seats, adopting, in a short space of time, different aspects and capacities according to the required use. The summit is designed to generate ideas, dialogue and creativity in an innovative environment, so the day continued in another space of the theater, the CUBO space and its large glazed entrance hall, where a live jazz band awaited them encourage networking.

The session “Deliver new value with reimagined revenue streams” was led by Bonny Shapira (CISCO Live Leader), Francesca Manzani (Head of Florece Office AIM Group) and Alessandro Cortese (CEO European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology), who shared the evolution of their business models and new sources of income in an ultracompetitive market.
