At Mister Karton we are dedicated to EcoDesign, carrying out products, projects and services that minimize the environmental impact throughout their life cycle. Our ecodesign methodology begins from the conception of the product, designing to maximize durability and minimize the use of materials, using only between 2 and 3. We work mainly with organic materials such as cardboard, wood, cork, bamboo, which are biodegradable and 100 % recyclable. FSC certified cardboard and wood. Suitable for WELL, BREMAN and LEAD certifications for sustainable construction.
Our production is local, carried out entirely in our workshop in Mataró, Barcelona, where we also maximize the use of materials to reduce waste. We use ecological water-based paints and varnishes and we source 100% green energy through nova light energy. Additionally, we strive to minimize packaging, reusing it whenever possible, and design modular parts that facilitate efficient transportation and reduction of CO2 emissions. Our approach includes the use of materials with low formaldehyde and volatile organic compounds content, not harmful to living beings.
Finally, we promote responsible consumption and offer products that are easily dismantled and recyclable at the end of their useful life. Our products, made from 95% cardboard and with only a couple of additional materials, allow for easy waste management and recycling. We seek to give them a second life and non-reusable waste is sent to specialized recycling centers. At Mister Karton, every step of the process is designed to ensure sustainability and respect for the environment.

- Event:
We had the privilege of bringing the Wallbox Summer Party stage to life, a vibrant event that marked the climax of the corporate summer celebration. We created a set that captures the essence of the American animated series Rick and Morty, known for its irreverent humor and interdimensional adventures. - Corporate:
We transform the spaces of the prestigious Iberostar Selection Albufera***** Resort. Our intervention included the design and installation of exclusive signs and decorations for their restaurant areas. Using organic and sustainable materials, we have created an environment that reflects natural beauty and sophistication, aligning perfectly with the resort’s image of luxury and environmental commitment. - Fairs:
On this occasion, for Happy Lab and Alimentaria, we designed and created modular structures, furniture and displays backlit with LEDs, as well as counters that not only meet the expected functionality, but also promote aesthetics and sustainability. - Interior design:
For the project at Hospedería Monasterio De La Vid we were in charge of the comprehensive design of the interiors, incorporating wooden wall coverings, personalized lighting fixtures and decorative elements that highlight the history and architecture of the place. Our approach ensures that each space is not only aesthetically appealing, but also harmonious with the natural environment, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and beauty.
