CCIB

Located in Barcelona’s Forum district, the Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB) comprises two iconic buildings connected by an underground walkway. It offers a total surface area of 100,000 m² and can accommodate up to 15,000 attendees.

The Convention Centre, the CCIB’s main building, was designed by architect Josep Lluís Mateo with a strong emphasis on natural light. Its façade blends seamlessly into the skyline and was conceived to minimise its impact on the surrounding environment.

With 46 open-plan rooms distributed across three floors and two mezzanines, the CCIB is a highly versatile and multifunctional venue. Highlights include the 11,340 m² Multipurpose Hall, which can be divided into eight different areas, and the 1,665 m² Banquet Hall, featuring a terrace with sea views.

The CCIB Forum Auditorium, an impressive blue triangular building designed by Herzog & de Meuron, is connected to the main building by a 160-metre underground walkway. It can accommodate 3,084 people and features a 420 m² stage. Its distinctive textured blue façade, spacious interiors, outstanding acoustics and hybrid spaces make it an ideal venue for all types of events and live performances.

The CCIB offers a comprehensive range of integrated services and tailor-made solutions for congresses, conventions, exhibitions and shows, including furniture, advanced audiovisual and IT technology, signage, stage design, exhibition design and simultaneous interpretation. A specialised team of professionals ensures quality, efficiency and solutions tailored to the needs of every event.

Food & Beverage (CCIB F&B)

The CCIB has more than 3,000 m² dedicated to high-quality catering, with professional kitchens and in-house facilities capable of providing up to 48,000 servings per day.

A specialised team of chefs and catering professionals combines experience, creativity and local produce to create gastronomic proposals tailored to every occasion, from cocktail receptions and corporate lunches to gala dinners.

The CCIB was also the first convention centre in Europe to have its kitchens certified to the ISO 22000 standard, providing a guarantee of food safety and quality throughout every stage of the service.
