Benito Villamarín Stadium
As well as being the home ground of Real Betis Balompié, it is the epicentre of the whole organisation of the club. In constant evolution, the stadium has all the facilities for the season ticket holder to watch the first team matches. The great variety of seats available – it has a capacity of 60,721 spectators – allows the fans to adapt to any area of the pitch from where they want to watch the evolution of their team.
Within this range of possibilities, the numerous VIP boxes and Premiun areas are particularly noteworthy. Thus, there are 25 VIP boxes in Fondo, while Gol Norte has 21. All of them have excellent features and different dimensions depending on the number of members: 13, 15 and 19 seats. In addition to watching the match live, fans can watch the best plays and replays on television.
The new Gol Sur project has allowed the creation of a new Premium area with 395 seats. This area, known as the Gol Sur Experience, allows fans to enjoy a unique musical and gastronomic experience from one of the best areas of the new stand.
The refurbished Villamarín also features new lighting with much more sustainable solutions. This installation allows a series of effects to be executed in an intelligent way. In addition, it makes the stadium suitable for recording matches in high quality 4K format.
In addition, the Estadio Benito Villamarín has two parking areas – Gol Norte and Fondo, with 230 spaces, and Gol Sur, with almost 100 spaces – where members can rent them on match days. The stadium also houses the Club’s offices. The offices of the sports area, as well as those of the youth academy, are located in the Ciudad Deportiva Luis del Sol.
For media professionals, there are areas set up for journalists to have a pleasant working environment. There are booths where the matches can be broadcast, an area in the stands, for the exclusive use of editors, and a space adjacent to the press room for the graphic media to find accommodation for the development of their functions.
The press room is equipped with the latest technology to make it a multifunctional room, where not only the coaches’ appearances are held, but it can also be used as a presentation room or even a classroom for training and viewing images. There is also an area, known as the mixed zone, for post-match interviews in accordance with the parameters set by LaLiga and UEFA.
